Information You Submit
Search Terms
Anything typed into a search widget goes straight to the outside company that runs the tool. The site itself never stores or logs those search terms.
Messages and Requests
Emails and contact messages are kept only long enough to answer them. We read, reply, then delete. The messages stay inside the operating organization. Only one exception exists. A law or valid legal process can compel disclosure.
Routine Technical Data
Loading a page can generate typical technical records. These help run the service, keep it secure, and show how it is used:
- IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Referring page, when one is supplied
- Request timestamps
Cookies and Similar Tools
Cookies do a small job here. They measure how people move through the pages. That is all. Any browser lets you block or delete them. Doing so is your call. Just know that a few features may act a bit odd once cookies are switched off.
How Information Is Used
- Keep the pages available and responsive
- Send search requests to the intended partner tool
- Learn which pages and features are useful
- Find errors and address technical problems
- Display advertising that may be relevant to visitors
Links and Partner Services
You will find plenty of outbound links on these pages. They point to jail rosters, booking dockets, sheriff and corrections sites, courts, government portals, and outside search tools. The moment you click through, a different set of rules takes over. Whatever privacy notice and terms the destination site publishes will govern your visit there.
Advertising partners raise a similar point. Some of them track browsing across many sites to serve interest-based ads on their own systems. That activity sits under each partner's policies. So this notice does not control it by itself.
Possible Recipients
Your personal data is never sold here. That said, the following parties may receive it when the purposes described above call for it, or when the law demands disclosure:
- Search partners that handle submitted queries
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Limits
Standard, reasonable security practices are in place. Still, no system connected to the internet is fully bulletproof. No promise is made that data will always escape unauthorized access, loss, or breach.
Visitors Under 18
This service is built for adults. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Did a minor submit something anyway? A parent or guardian can contact the service and ask that it be deleted.
Your Choices and Rights
- Ask what personal data is held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Ask that information be deleted where applicable
- Opt out of certain processing where that option is available
Changes to This Notice
Expect revisions over time. As the service, its vendors, or the law shift, this notice will shift too. The new version will appear right here with a fresh effective date. If you keep using the service after an update, that continued use counts as acceptance of the revised practices.
